Un inno alla notte, solenne e ambigua, articolato in una trilogia olfattiva che ha stregato l’ultima edizione di Esxence.
Antonio Alessandria, titolare della profumeria Boudoir36 di Catania, ha incantato Esxence con un poema olfattivo di 3 fragranze che affondano la loro piramide nella solennità ambigua della notte. Mistero e seduzione si attraggono a vicenda, sigillate dall’opulenza di un accordo cuoiato che lega come un fil rouge le tre fragranze.
Nacre Blanche è una dichiarazione d’amore alla luna, la falce nitida di Pessoa che col suo diffuso biancore entra dalla finestra a rischiarare l’incarnato d’alabastro di chi, leggenda vuole, è costretta a stare in casa per sfuggire agli effetti eccitanti sugli uomini della fioritura delle tuberose. Una fragranza che combina insieme castità e peccato, il tentativo frivolo di nascondere tra le lenzuola un cuore di fiori bianchi su un elegante fondo di legni e cuoio. Una tuberosa sensuale, elegante, combattuta tra vizio e virtù in un profumo che entra a pieno titolo tra le mie tuberose preferite.
Nuit Rouge è forse il più interessante dei tre. Un profumo che brucia sulla pelle come lava incandescente, un’eruzione di sensualità sui toni rosso bruni del diaspro e dai sentori asprigni del rabarbaro, che emerge elegante tra germogli di ribes e geranio, prima di farsi piccante nel cuore di pepe nero, zafferano e caffè. Sul fondo torna l’elegante firma di Antonio, quell’accordo cuoiato tanto sbalorditivo quanto raffinato che accomuna tutta la trilogia.
Da ultimo, Noir Obscur. Solenne e intenso, noir obsur è una notte ossianica e sublime, che vede l’assoluta di rhum baciare silenziosamente un’anima di rosa bulgara, iris e osmanto, arricchendo il tutto di un erotismo misterioso, selvaggio, ebbro di peccato, che trova un fidato alleato nel buio segreto della notte.
Con un debutto all’insegna di un purismo lirico di rara eleganza e di una sensualità raffinata e d’altri tempi, Antonio Alessandria ha vinto a mani basse in questa edizione di Esxence, portando a segno tre bellissime reti nel campionato della profumeria artistica come non se ne vedevano da un po’.

Antonio Alessandria, owner of Boudoir36 boutique in Catania, has charmed Esxence with this poem of 3 fragrances that sink their ambiguous pyramid down in the solemnity of the night. Mystery and seduction attract each other, sealed by the opulence of a leathery agreement that binds the three fragrances like a fil rouge.
Nacre Blanche is a declaration of love to the moon, the sharp sickle Pessoa was talking about in his ode to the night, which spreads through the window with his whiteness to illuminate the alabaster skin tone of those who, legend has it, is forced to stay at home to escape the arousing effects connected with the blooming tuberous. A fragrance that combines chastity and sin, the frivolous attempt to hide between the sheets a heart of white flowers, over a background of elegant woods and leather. A sensual, elegant tuberous, torn between vice and virtue in a scent that comes in its own right among my favorite tuberoses.
Nuit Rouge is perhaps the most interesting of the three. A perfume that burns on the skin like molten lava, an eruption of sensuality on the brown tones of red jasper and the sour hints of rhubarb, which emerges elegantly between buds of black currant and geranium, before getting into the spicy heart of black pepper, saffron and coffee. On the bottom, we find again the elegant signature of Antonio, that leathery agreement so amazing how refined that unites the entire trilogy.
Finally, Noir Obscur. Solemn and intense, Noir Obsur is an Ossianic and sublime night, which sees the absolute of rum kiss silently a soul of Bulgarian rose, iris and osmanthus, enriching the whole composition of of a mysterious, wild eroticism, drunk with sin, which has a trusted ally in the dark secret of the night.
With a debut marked by a lyrical purity of rare elegance and a refined sensuality of other times, Antonio Alessandria won hands down this edition of Esxence, scoring three beautiful goals in the championship of artistic perfumery. Bravo!
